2017: My room was on the 3rd floor and had an exquisite view of the lake. The hotel is old and run down but the room, bathroom and linens were clean. The hotel staff were accommodating and friendly and always ready to answer my questions. I stayed during a rowing competition so opted for the set menu being served to the athletes. The food was good and quite enough to fill up on. This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but in an area this lovely, you really only need to be there to sleep as you will be enjoying the surrounding attractions. The location on a hill overlooking the lake is absolutely stunning. There is a large terrace where you can enjoy the view to your heart’s content.

2016: Accommodation was comfortable and more than adequate, though nothing special except for the location and the staff who were very helpful, spending time with us to sort out our flight check-ins for the next day. We were walking the Way of St Francis from Assisi toward Rome and this was a perfect location. We visited the Marmore Falls while there – beautiful!

2015: Het uitzicht over het meer vanuit de kamer was adembenemend. Echt a room with a view.

2014: A great hotel in every respect, we use Hotel Del Lago to accommodate our Eurobiketrans customers when they visit Terni area. Highly recommended for its location, views over the lake and as a centre to explore the area. Can fault this place.

2013: Sitting at the magnificent terrace of the hotel I’m writing. Stunning view and peace all around, it’s 7 a.m. Dinner last night was superb and flawless the service. General appearance is not very crispy but… do I really need shiny steel and crystals?

2016: The best of a hotel it is not the building, rooms, food nor the location nor the views…the real value are: it’s people: the staff! I had a “special request” :with a smile, in reception Ignazio said: “sorry we do not have it” but, with a good attitude he added: “we will try for you”. Next day meet Marianna and she told me: “it is very difficult”, but, “i will do my best for you” sche also said. That night was a rain storm with thunders, wind and so on. Saturday morning Marianna surprised me with it… she made the impossible possible with a warm heart. It is not the value of “it” : it’s the human touch!! Grazie, danke, gracias, obrigado, merci or shukria! Thanks to boyh but same to all employees!
